Viewing QuickTime movies in your Web browser

Many Web sites use QuickTime for video, audio, and animation. On some Web sites movies play automatically. On other sites, you need to click an image of the movie or the Play button.

When a movie plays in a Web page, you see controls that allow you to play, pause, fast-forward, rewind, and adjust the volume of the movie. With QuickTime Pro, there is also an option to save movies to your hard disk, if the author of the movie allows this.

The QuickTime Web site has a number of QuickTime movies (including the latest Hollywood movie trailers) that you can view in your Web browser.
